Stockings are her canvas

The word ‘stocking’ makes it sound like a garment of the past, where a stocking could either be black, sheer, sexy and held up with a suspender belt or, in contrast, practical, brown and slightly wrinkled around the ankle.

Stockings and by extension socks are the worker bees of our wardrobes, rarely are they the stars of the show.
