Miista Meets: Bozena Zielasko.
It’s easy to notice that everyone at Miista has a creative edge. Even our Mums!
Today we bring you an interview with the lovely and extremely fashionable Bozena Zielasko: Mum of our brilliant photographer (slash blogger) Alice.
Since I knew she had worked with her daughter as her photographer for the blog, I was expecting a very cool mum whom I hoped would take her mirrored shades off long enough for me to see her face. I got the cool part right, but her attitude was nothing short of sweet and humble. She’s actually quite shy, but this is definitely Miista at its most beautiful. So welcome to the first Miista Mum you'll get to meet, introducing Bozena!
Describe your personal style and why Miista works into your wardrobe well.
For me shoes are the most important part of the outfit. They are that one thing that ties it all together. Personally, I don't feel tied to any particular style. I'm actually quite open to trying new trends. But I do enjoy elegance with a little bit of extravaganza. Miista, with a variety of styles and colours, is a paradise for a true shoe lover. Pair it with a simple white T-shirt. Boom. You can still look spectacular.
What do you do?
I'm working at the PR agency.
CHILDHOOD DREAM JOB.
I was one of those kids who wanted to be an actor. But my current job gives me a lot of satisfaction, too!
What goals do you want to attain in next 5 years?
These days, I'm trying to keep up with the healthy lifestyle. I'm a very active person and I adore nature. That being said, I want to be able to run a marathon. Maybe the one in London? That's my long term goal.
Trekking is my starting point since I've scored couple of Mountain outings, already. On my to-do list i have a trekking trip around the Nepal's Annapurna. That would be my second time there, actually!
#1 THING YOU SPEND MONEY ON:
Surprise: the shoes. But in terms of numbers, I don't have a massive shoe collection.
MOST WORN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING:
Denim trousers (rips and holes are welcome!), t-shirt and a leather jacket.
Romantic dress and tousled head.
Your daughter is a very popular blogger. What’s the best part about it?
Her natural instinct for fashion first came out when she was only 7 ( giving her mother a hard time, haha). She started blogging in 2008, while I was trekking in Himalayas (happily unaware).
She sure seems to have lots of fun with fashion and I must admit she's very good at it, too.
Her fashion advice always serve me well and allows me to look at myself from a totally different perspective.
BRITAIN OR POLAND. What’s your secret fave spot in both these places?
There are so many places in Poland! Let's start off with Tatra Mountains (but they can be very dangerous if you are a rookie). My favourite summer spot is located in a beautiful Lake District. And if you're into sandy beaches, I absolutely recommend sea side. I go there every year myself!
I haven't been everywhere in Britain, but I have always wanted to visit Cornwall, as I've heard it's absolutely stunning.
