Anna Piaggi: RIP
Today we lost an icon. An unmistakable, inimitable woman who was punk before punk existed, who was a leader in a sea of followers and who will never be forgotten. Anna Piaggi, we are so sad to have lost you. Anna Piaggi was the long time editor of Vogue Italia and a staple on the style scene since as long as anyone can remember. She was a detail oriented lady -- even using the same bright red Olivetti typewriter since 1969. Read our full profile of Anna here
and use today to celebrate the life of a fashion visionary. Being unmistakable came easy to Anna, and there aren't many others like her being photographed at the front row of the major fashion shows. She didn't care for norms or trends, she addressed her personal style and her personal style only. In doing so she will live on as a fashion classic, a woman who never thought twice about trusting her instinct and believing in herself. BRAVA ANNA, YOU WILL BE MISSED!
