You know how we get excited by finding cool people kicking about in Miistas? To share the love, we've been featuring them on our blog. On the spot today is Vivian from Singapore. We found her Instagram feed after she tagged Miista on her photo. Her feed sees a lot of black&white images and beautiful compositions. Her dress sense is minimal and clever - it's all Tumblr perfect in the best possible sense. We got in touch with her to find out where she gets her inspiration and what she's about when not taking pretty pictures. Follow Vivian on Instagram
. Where do you live? If we were to visit, what’s the one hidden spot you’d recommend us to see?
I am a Singaporean and have been living in Singapore throughout the 22years of my life. There are alot of cafes in Singapore to explore. I would recommend Prive at Keppal Bay. One of the great places to enjoy brunch by the water's edge. What do you do? And more importantly, what are you about (if its not the same thing)?
I graduated from NAFA, Fashion Design last year and have been working 2 part time jobs until recently I got hired as a designer for a local brand Exhibit located at Far East Plaza. Do you have any people, bloggers, IG users or magazines that inspire you? In terms of fashion and the things that you do?
@STOPITRIGHTNOW is one of my biggest inspiration. I am madly in love with her effortless style. Which designers or fashion companies do you like and why (don’t worry – you don’t have to say Miista)?
My current favorite this Zara! It's so affordable and trendy. I have been stalking their website almost everyday that's how crazy I am. You take great IG pictures! Is this a good eye and a hobby, or is there more to it?
Thank you! It started out as just a causal sharing of pictures but after seeing alot of great ig pictures I became more enthusiastic and I guess now you can call it as a hobby. Tell us about your playlist at the moment - what’s currently on repeat?
My current song that has been on repeat for days (non stop) is sadly not an english song. It's a Thai song called, "Mai Ruk...Mai Taung" by New & Jiew. I guess you can figure out why after reading the lyrics. Anything else you’d like to say?
Thanks for the opportunity to be featured in this amazing blog!
