On October 26th 2015 a new bond film is to be released starring Daniel Craig titled Spectre. This will be the twenty-forth James Bond film produced by Eon Productions, it was directed by Sam Mendes (the same guy that directed Skyfall), and features James Bond encountering a global criminal agency known as SPECTRE (the first time the organisation has been mentioned since Diamonds Are Forever in 1971)
The element that most excites me about the Bond movies are the women. I think they've been back the glamour element to Bond, they give us someone to..
Wish we had the hair of, such as “Thumper’s” cute short natural afro played by Trina Parks in Diamonds Are Forever 1971 -
Or Miss Taro’s splendid up-do’s played by Zena Marshall in Dr No 1962 -
Wish we had the bodies of/give us some gym-spiration of; Think of Halle Berry emerging from the sea as “Jinx” in Die Another Day 2002 -
Admire the sassiness and double-entrendre names of, think of Pilot “Pussy Galore” played by Honour Blackman in Goldfinger 1964 -
Or admire the bravery, intelligence and ability to out-think a character such as Bond, just like Wai Lin (played by Michelle Yeoh) in Tomorrow Never Dies 1997 -
The three main “Bond Babes” (as I have aptly named them) featured in the new Bond film Spectre will be: Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, a psychologist working at a private medical clinic in the Austrian Alps, and the daughter of Mr. White. Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, a former agent first seen in Skyfall who field to become M's assistant. Monica Bellucci (SWOON!) as Lucia Sciarra, the widow of an assassin killed by Bond.
BOND BABE: Honey Ryder Actress: Ursula Andress Film: Dr No (1962)
Favourite scene: A really obvious choice to begin with but no one can argue with the sex appeal of this woman when she’s emerging from the sea in THAT white bikini complete with hunting knife and shells. Purr..
Get the look: For all things beach babe look no further than Bumble & Bumble’s Surf Spray, 125ml for £22 or 50ml for £9.50. Use this spray on damp or dry hair and leave to dry and tousle naturally, the less you touch it after application the better! Perfect for that just- jumped-out-of-the-sea-from-diving-looking-for-shells look.
BOND BABE: Jill Masterson Actress: Shirley Eaton Film: Goldfinger (1964)
Favourite scene: Painted metallic gold lying naked on a bed! Genius!
I also like the scene where she is spying on Goldfinger from the balcony with her binoculars in order to help him win his card game (her 60’s hair is perfect) -
Get the look: Fancy being gold for a day? Paint yourself metallic using Graftobian Gold Powdered Metal Powder, used with Graftobian Mixing Liquid or Graftobian Magic Set to turn powder into a highly metallic paint.
BOND BABE: Mei-Lei0 Actress: Mai Ling Film: Goldfinger (1964)
Favourite scene: Mei-Lei is first seen as a flight attendant on Goldfinger’s private jet, and assumes the role of a bit of a peeping-tom while he is dressing in a private changing room on the flight.. Bond puts a stop to this by squirting shaving foam over the spy hole she’s using. I couldn’t find footage of this on youtube but I did find her in her second Bond film, in her first bikini scene as one of the bath-girls alongside Yee-Wah Yang and Yasuko Nagazumi in You Only Live Twice 1967 -
Get the look: I think Mei-Lei is the kind of girl that would appreciate good skin care.. well, she did perform a scene in a bath house after all! Something like Balance Me’s Cleanse & Smooth Face Balm would be amazing for all of that gentle scrubbing over a warm bath, this beauty of a cleanser works as a perfect makeup-remover even for waterproof mascara, while being gentle enough for sensitive skin as it contains no parabens or sulphates and comes with a muslin cloth perfect for facial cleansing. It really is a must-have for an everyday-use skincare routine.
BOND BABE: Rosie Carver Actress: Gloria Hendry Film: Live and Let Die (1973)
Gloria Hendry plays Rosie Carver in "Live and Let Die"
Favourite scene: Rosie Carver and James Bond (Roger Moore) are kissing on the beach before he shortly threatens her with a gun for not admitting to him that she in fact works for the enemy.
This scene doesn’t have Rosie Carver in it but I only wish she was running on the backs of crocodiles alongside Roger Moore in this -
Get the look: Rosie Carver does a lot of kissing in this.. and a lot of talking! I think she would love a product like Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in Shade “Honey”, it contains plant-based active ingredients and a little goes a long way, £18.00 for 7ml
Bérénice Marlohe Film:
Favourite scene: The scene in which Bond (played by Daniel Craig) joins her for a shower on her yacht while they sail on the way to meet her evil husband Raoul Silva -
And the scene where she looks incredible at the casino and warns Bond of his impending doom -
Get the look: Sévérine LOVES makeup, she loves a heavy eye! What I love about this girl is that she will happily do an eye AND a lip, and she doesn’t even care a bit AND she looks amazing while doing it! Go Sévérine! Because of this, it is only right that I recommend to go for something heavy.. Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in “Titanium Smoke”. At £64.00, Each quad is designed with four complementing shades that will give you a bold, smokey eye every time.. with sheer sparkle finishes, satins, shimmers and matte.. there is something there for everyone.. also on a side note, Tom Ford makes the suits for Daniel Craig as James Bond, so what better time to go matchy-matchy and try a his-and-hers? He’s got the suit, you’ve got the eyeshadow.. a match Bond would approve of.
