An experimental fusion of draping and structural piercings, Femi is a winterised long sleeve dress that features a zip-up turtle neck and a tailored chest inspired by the defining of feminine body shapes through corsetry. Her design features strategically placed front piercings that hold the fabric together, allowing the material to elegantly drape around the body before flowing down into a longline floor-length dress. Made from a silk-like soft fabric, this piece offers the pairing of two opposite fabrics. Finished with a raw hem, Femi’s deconstructed yet reconstructed feel is enhanced by her piercings that can be twisted on and off.
